Give Blood Save Life

I made a second blood donation after a year. I am excited because I am going to the Red cross in Sleman. The first blood donation was in one of the hospitals in Yogyakarta when I was helping a good friend that needed help and had the same blood type as me. I searched on Google and found out the Sleman Red Cross is not far from home.

In preparation for the blood donation, I was sleeping well, which is 8 hours on the day before, and I ate in the morning before going to the place around 8 p.m. The area was relatively clean when I arrived, and the room was nice and tidy. The doctor came to me and asked some questions, mainly to ensure that I had enough sleep and had eaten. I also filled up some forms for registration.

After completing the registration, I walked to the chair. The doctor is doing the process on my left arm. The pain was not a big deal, and once the blood was transferred, I waited approximately 15 minutes until completed with a volume of 350 cc. The doctor conversed with me and motivated me to make blood donations more regularly every three months because not many people want to do it, and not all can pass the requirement.

Once the blood donation process finished, I went to another room on the other side. There are coffee, tea, and water, and the doctor said that I could take the small package of food, water, and supplement as a bonus because I give the blood donation.

I appreciate how the doctor was doing the process and motivated me to do it more regularly. This blood donation is the second time for me so far, I have enjoyed doing it, and I will do it more frequently as I read in the news that giving blood will give you a healthy and satisfying feeling because of sharing and caring for the other people.

Regards.
